Purchased, installed and tried to add apps. Is not possible because the normally available search function is missing. Also the Roku remote APP loaded on the phone does not allow search and makes the device unusable for me. Why is it sold in Switzerland if you can not use it here?
Great price/performance. Good alternative to the Apple TV. BUT - CAUTION, übre VPN to set up.
Not really plug & play as far as channel selection is concerned. If you create an account with residence in Switzerland, the channel selection is miserable (as of April 2022); e.g. no Disneyplus.
To get around this, and get access to all channels, you have to sign up with residency e.g. USA. During the registration (create account) use a VPN (may not be necessary). This way you can create an account with USA and have access to all possible channels like Disneyplus, Paramount+, etc. Some channels can be subscribed with PayPal as payment method, others like HBO not, because you need a USA credit card.Pro

Not for the Swiss market
With some tricks, the ROKU can be set up as if you were in Germany. However, it does not have all German apps compared to Android. Swiss apps are not available (Sky Show is also missing). There are better alternatives for a few francs more.

The advertising was so great (in Germany) but for Switzerland completely unsuitable :-(

Tuning for "older" TVs
Use this device for my older LCD Panasonic TV in sleeping, because there is no update for the current Netflix from Panasonic for this model.
In the living room I have this in combination with LG OLED because of the Control4 system, so the APPs can be integrated directly (SDDP) and start with one touch via the Neeo remote control. Runs flawlessly, even if it "only" has WLAN.Pro

Kein 5GHz WLAN!
Funktioniert gut. Ich habe Express 4K gekauft, nicht wegen 4K, sondern 5Ghz Band. And here I need to say (and in English, so you get it:) It is not Dual WiFi, basically no 5GHz. If you only support a few channels, you need to print it on the box. In Germany, this gives me the right to return the product. It took me 1h to google and find out which channels work. What do people do who do not own the Wifi? Ridiculous. A scam, to be frank. And unnecessary, it is a good product.

Ich weiß nicht mehr genau, findet man nach langem googlen. Sind die niedrigen Kanaäle (einige davon), und dann noch, so insg. 4-5. Bei eigenem WLAN wohl ok, muss man nur wissen und am Router fest einstellen.Pro
