As usual from Retroflag, the quality and the concept are top. Assembly is very simple and quick. I'm really surprised by the battery operation, I use 2450mAh Ladda batteries and after about 2.5 hours in total, the thing is still running (screen brightness at minimum). The D-pad made a somewhat "lotty", spongy impression at the beginning, but I didn't notice anything of this in the game. The shutdown script and patch worked straight away. There are great instructions on the net for setting up wifi via "wpa_supplicant.conf", copying files and installing them.

Have already, when I noticed the package from the mailbox, that there can be something wrong.
Too light, the whole thing.
SD card and Pi Zero W were included.
And an empty box from the GPI Case.

it's very easy to take with you and you can play your favourite games on it :-) i always take the gameboy with me when i go to work :-D i wish i could get the upgrade tool from the GPI and play even more on the GPI case :-)

Lack of power for GBA games. And particular resolution which makes the rendering of gameboy games not perfect even with filters. It's a shame. Otherwise nice for the retro side
Retroflag makes a really great product
Installing RPI Zero was relatively easy, but I had to watch a YouTube video just to make sure everything was correct. Installing Recalbox on the SD card was easy and then you can actually start playing right away! Oh yes, 3 batteries are also needed.
I've already played Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and other Gameboy games.
The hardware is surprisingly sophisticated for a project by a small, relatively unknown company. Buttons feel good, pressure point is good. Display is sharp and clear. Response time (input lag) is very good (not noticeable). The buttons on the back are inconvenient to use, but you don't need them for most games. I wish the thing was a bit bigger, like the original Gameboy. My hands haven't got any smaller since I was a kid. Only downer: sound is not very good. Sounds a bit tinny and has slight hissing, especially in CPU-intensive games/scenes. Why exactly is not clear to me. Still, the sound is okay for a Gameboy, we don't want to set audiophile standards here.

The long wait was worth it!

Meets all my expectations.
Runs perfectly with the Recalbox Beta.

Good quality, easy to assemble. Display good. However, the writing on the play list is hard to read. Uses a lot of power, won't last long on batteries. I use it with a powerbank and the enclosed cable. Too bad it's not available here yet.
