Polar, or how they get me to switch to the competition
At first glance, a great offer. But with massive sacrifices in quality. Even the second model after the return of the first drawbacks such as the short battery life, the problems with synchronization and regular crashes that require a hard reset in the eye. If the activity data is completely unrealistic, it is a clear mistake for me.

Clock does not respond from time to time....Display remains dark
Actually, the clock would be the hammer, but with me it is so that it somehow "freezes" after a while, ie, it does not respond. I can pick up the arm and turn as I want, nothing happens. Only pressing the side button brings the watch back to life. I see on the display how it promptly changes an old time back to the current time. I'm not aware if this is a software bug or it's really just my watch. Anyway, it is very annoying when you raise your wrist to check the time and the screen stays black.....
Maybe other users have had the same experience?

Polar Unite
The Polar Unite is absolutely top as a simple smartwatch, activity tracker and fitness watch. It is very flat, not too big and comfortable to wear. However, without GPS, but this connection can be made via the smartphone!
The bracelet is something to get used to. With this unusual knob closure, it is a fumble to put on the watch. However, the wristband can be very easily swapped for the one on the Polar Ignite! Sold separately.
The USB charging adapter does its job, but is without a cable and very basic.

Don't waste your money
Having now owned and used the Polar Unite for 6 months, I have become familiar with its foibles. When it is unable to produce sleep data, it recommends that the watch be worn tightly while sleeping. If I wore it any tighter, it would prevent blood flow. It sometimes reads inactivity as sleep, which produces incorrect sleep metrics. No wrist worn device can produce accurate HRV metrics, so it shares this defect with all the other wrist wearables that claim to produce HRV results.

Inexpensive and good-looking
Important: the commissioning with the first setup should definitely be done via PC and not via app. We tried it with the app first. After hours, however, this was not yet completed. Via the PC it took 15 minutes!

Does what it should, but
For the price okay, but I'm used to higher quality products from Polar. No GPS of its own, only when the watch is connected to the cell phone during training. When scrolling, it keeps opening menus for me because the touch screen is sensitive. I do not wear the watch at night, but it still shows high pulse activity some nights.
For recording workouts, it works great and captures a lot of data. The watch is sturdy, although I bump into it a lot at work. The charging works great.
But my next watch will either be much more expensive or I'll have to switch to another brand.Pro

Ok, but not a professional device
It looks pretty and is super light.
I have replaced my M430 with the Polar Unite, which was visually ok, but technically a mistake.
In addition, the charger is a disaster, mine is unfortunately already defective.
I would certainly not buy again and not recommend

Unit good, charger miserable
The function, the look, the app - everything is top-notch.
However, from my point of view, it is practically impossible to charge the watch. I have never been able to click the adapter into the right position the first time. Trying and testing for 5 minutes to ensure that the battery charges safely is tedious and absolutely useless when charging is necessary every 3 - 4 days.
The charging cable on the A360 worked perfectly with a magnet. The charger on the A370 worked fine with USB. But this? Please improve it!Pro
