Actually, I wanted the Nexus 4... Since it was not yet discounted when I ordered it, I opted for the Optimus 4X HD.
At first I thought about exchanging it for the Nexus 4 (the price went down shortly after I ordered it), but when I held the Optimus in my hand I decided to keep it.
And I am MORE than satisfied. Before that, I had an HTC Sensation, which unfortunately crashed more and more often after the 2 years I had it, and I had to get a new one.
I can really say that for the price, the LG Optimus 4X HD really offers a lot. The battery lasts almost 3 days with "my" normal use (my Sensation was almost empty after one day), the device can be used very smoothly, there are no jerks or long charging times so far.
I also find that the device fits very well in the hand, the display is perfect and the operation of the LG interface is intuitive.
In short: a real bargain that really offers a lot for the little money.
I would really recommend the Optimus, even though LG is not one of the "hip" smartphone manufacturers.

Very nice device super interface and even factory design options battery is really the only weak point of this smartphone
the cpu works very rigid without any delay the display is really a feast for the eyes it's not gaudy colours but serh very natural and especially sharp colours.
compliments to lg on price absolutely nothing to complain about 2 nfctags included.

All in all, I was rather disappointed. Would rather go for the One XAwesome smartphone! + classy design (looks better...

+ noble design (looks better than SGS3)
+ very good workmanship and stable
+ good choice of materials (especially the back feels good)
+ super bright and sharp display (without pentile matrix, which is very good!)
+ technical data are absolutely high-end, nothing is missing (the competition does not stand out)
+ Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich"
+ physical softkeys
+ runs super smooth thanks to Quad Core processor
+ Sound is not great but OK
+ price (a bit cheaper than the competition)
+ WIFI CAN ACCESS 5 GHZ FREQUENCY! (even some good laptops and desktops only have 2.4 GHz)
- Battery life (runs out of juice after only 1 day, despite 2150 mAh! Hopefully it's also partly due to the software, but no idea).
- Camera has problems with autofocus (will be fixed by software update).
CONCLUSIONS:
The LG Optimus 4X HD is a very good smartphone that does almost nothing wrong. Only the camera could be better. But as already mentioned, there will be an update that should fix the problems with the autofocus. I have never had an LG smartphone before and have of course read everywhere about the problems with software and updates about LG. But a small update has already been released for this smartphone and, according to LG, there will be more updates to come. That sounds good.
If you look at the battery life, you won't be happy with any device in this class at the moment. Even the SGS3 or HTC One X is not much better.
Anyone who buys this smartphone will definitely not do anything wrong and will not regret it. I can only recommend it to everyone.
