Good price, OS is installed quickly.

A laptop at a good price with technical specifications that are truly outstanding in this price range.
The price is explained by the fact that there is no pre-installed OS and there are no unnecessary bells and whistles.
    I think.
An OS such as Windows 11 or even Linux can be downloaded from the respective supplier's website without any problems. Simply create a bootable stick with the relevant iso, plug it in and you're done. Or burn the iso to a DVD with sufficient memory and install it using an external drive. However, a minimum of pc knowledge is necessary. Simply unpacking and getting started is not an option here.
The bottom line is that the laptop works perfectly. And with a little knowledge, you can get it up and running quickly and very cheaply.

    Pro

    • Very good value for money.
    • The OS can be installed without any problems
    • Runs smoothly due to its 16gb ram
    • Bluetooth, w-lan and sufficient connection options

    Contra

    • Delivered without OS (which explains the good price)

Lenovo V15 Gen 4, was an almost new return, yet poor battery performance & dodgy warranty

Students would probably have to find a network connection again after the first lecture, but this laptop is quite useful for home use.

    Pro

    • The numeric keypad makes it easier
    • High screen resolution...

    Contra

    • This was a return to Digitec, but I don't know how long this PC has been running.
    • What bothers me is that the battery is empty after just under 2 hours.
    • Officially, it should still provide between 6-8 hours of energy.
    • Such a new device should therefore work for about a day without constant charging.
    • Digitec officially offers a 24-month guarantee,
    • If you check with the manufacturer Lenovo, the warranty is only valid for 2 months for repair and replacement.

I actually might have to send this back

I was really looking for a relatively cheap machine to install Linux on and use as a machine for light web-browsing, and media playback and occasional medium-heavy development work.

    Unfortunately the display and speakers
on this machine are worse than I had thought possible, so I'm seriously considering sending it back.

    Pro

    • Really affordable
    • Ideal if you are looking for a machine without OS

    Contra

    • The display is incredibly washed out
    • The viewing angles on the display are incredibly narrow
    • The speakers sound incredibly tinny

Why is a computer without operating system sold on Galaxus?! Luckily Im capable if installing Windows, but not everyone can do this. Hidden charges everywhere.

    Contra

    • Windows not included. Should be highlighted in product description.
