I have two Kobo Glo (6'', WLAN, Black...
I bought two Kobo Glo (6'', WLAN, black). Both devices are defective after approx. 4 and 6 months. Led flashes violently and writes restore. I got the device running again via PC. The next time I switched it on, the same error. I received a replacement for both free of charge. Otherwise I am satisfied with the devices.

This is the 4th Kobo Glo I've bought for the family, I love it. Small and practical, backlit, supports all book formats. You can read in the sun and at night... anytime and anywhere!

-Browser: Can be used to quickly download a PDF, google something or look up something in Wikipedia. However, it's quite slow and that's probably why it's under Extras.Sent it back immediately.
This was not stated anywhere in the description: You need extra software for the PC to load books onto the device.
On the whole a good e-reader, very good...
On the whole a good e-reader, very good readability in both very bright and very dark environments. Glare-free display. Hangs occasionally when turning pages (probably due to the touchscreen) and starts up rather slowly (except from sleep mode). Could read several books with the light on for 2 weeks without recharging, top!

Actually, I am/was very satisfied with the Reader.
Good picture, pleasant lighting, actually an unconditional recommendation to buy.
But now after 6 months (bought in March 2014) the Reader is no longer usable. In the last 2 weeks, the Reader has automatically restored itself about five times. That means connecting Reader to computer, updating, resetting, logging into Kobo, unlocking via Adobe Digital Editions, re-copying books to Reader and manually searching where I was. A very long and tedious process with the result that after 2 days the Reader did an automatic reset again.
I will have to return my Reader and hope for a replacement.Pro

Very poor build quality, repeated problems with the screen and when it was then defective after 5 months, no guarantee was granted with a cheap excuse.
