The resolution is too low to see details like license plates while driving. Since no GPS also no Km / h recording on the video. The connection to the app often needs several attempts. The video recording with two cameras does not work reliably with the voice control. When pressing a button is recorded only on one camera. Use in parallel the 57s from Garmin.

Before installing in the car (a fairly easy process that just the same takes 30 minutes; you need to rip the ceiling lining down from for ex. its velcro support and run the wire, hidden, through it, down the door molding, to the cigarette lighter, and peel and stick the adhesive ball support onto the windshield after washing the glass with alcohol): test this out first. Keep all packaging and don't rip anything. It didn't work with one of our cell phones (an Android Unihertz Atom XL; the app downloaded alright, but the cell phone/app could not register the dashcam, and the "help" screen in the App went into a vicious very unhelpful loop). That way in case it doesn't work with your cell phone, you can return it. Once up and running (for us, with an iPhone 12), the camera works fine. Has voice controls ("Hey Garmin...audio on"). The videos and images are clear enough to read license plate numbers at reasonable distances and are stored on the SD card, which can easily be read in my PC, with rotating storage, the latest over-writing the oldest file; they can also be stored on the Vault. Tip: when installing, place the dashcam on the driver's left-hand side of the windshield behind the rear view mirror, so the SD slot is easy to access. If on the right-hand side, it's still accessible, but you'll have to move the mirror a lot to find it. For 155 frs total with SD card, will give us some peace of mind; also thinking of installing a rear-view one now.

I use this dashcam on my motorbike. I found a place to mount it that is fine, but it has to be removed at every stop (too easy to steal).
