A compact printer with relatively smaller footprints.
Having heard from other users I am looking forward to Epson's offers of ink supplies at reduced prices.

I am very satisfied
Good printing results so far. I have even printed photos and the quality is ok. The price includes 4 colour cartridges. Point deduction for display which is really small. Fast delivery and, as always, no problems at Digitec.

It is a pity that it cannot be scanned directly onto the Cloud. The scan works without a cable via WSD.

Surprisingly poor
There is no functionality that would work to my satisfaction.
The setup did not work for me, so I set the wireless network manually. Two days later it forgot the settings. Two weeks later the "offline, cannot be connected" problem started that took quite some investigation to counter (even if not necessarely a problem with the printer).
The scanner does not read the full glass, so if the edges of the document are important, you will end up putting something into the scanner.
The copying causes colors to go off, resulting lifeless copies.
The color of printed pictures on auto are just not nice. manual correction possibilities are not described. "Uncorrected" color printing results for example RGB 0,0,255 (light blue) to be purple and something like RGB 200,255,255 (that is light gray) results something like cyan.
The usability is a joke. The printer is said to be capable of different resolutions, but there is no advanced setup to set it, only quality "high" without any info on what it means. Setting Legal 8.5 * 11 on the printer and Letter 8.5 * 11 stops printing with a paper size warning, if the paper runs out, the printing can not be just interrupted, switching off needs to be confirmed by pressing an other button and many, many more ...

This is my best inkjet printer so far and I've had a few. EcoTank is perfect and I hardly need any ink.
Runs tip top under Linux
The installation under Linux was very quick and completely uncomplicated. On the Epson website you can find the Linux drivers, including those for the scanner.
The printer is economical in operation. Filling in the ink is done without ink splashes and stains, even without gloves. Filling in the wrong colour is ruled out by coding.
The device has everything you really need, but no bells and whistles like automatic double-sided printing and sheet feed in the scanner. The print resolution is a little low. The scanner is not the fastest but has a selectable resolution of up to 1200dpi.

Fair price-performance ratio
Does what it is supposed to do. Relatively quiet, visually appealing, no ink rip-offs. Print result not quite as good as (much) more expensive products.
for home office printing
It takes some time to install and set up. If you want to use the scanner more often to save files digitally, choose a different model. This one has no memory card slots, so only a direct cable connection to the PC is possible. The print quality is good and quite fast.

For small offices or families, very functional and economical
Not very satisfactory
I had to call in 2 IT specialists to complete my installation. But not all my problems are solved. For example, I can't print in colour, only in b&w

Great printer
Really nice multi-functional printer. For the low resolution control display on the printer is first setting little problematic. But after is the printer really nice.
