When you want to clean the printheads, you have to run the cleaning a lot of times to get anything done
The automatic sheet loading function for scanning doesn't work very well, it gets stuck all the time, it's very sensitive, so I don't use it much.
I'm not going to go back to my old printers for anything in the world!Pro

Fine thing
I had Digitec advise me on which Epson ET model to buy. The batch feeder for copying and scanning was important to me and double-sided printing was not. Therefore the ET-4700

Not recommended
A lot of fun if you ever have to remove the paper jam, totally annoying and time consuming because that device can not be opened. I would not buy this device again in any case. In addition, the manufacturer has saved on all possible corners. The only plus point is the ink consumption.

Unspectacularly economical
Good device with focus on ink saving. Paper support for A4 is at the back of the machine (no drawer). Paper is poorly supported and deforms over time.
Device goes leisurely to work, stress must not be :-) Paper feed also slow. So far very economical. ATTENTION: All refill bottles fit into all filler necks. It is therefore theoretically possible to mix up the colors! Display very small, but functions are clear and understandable without instructions. Conclusion: For professional use rather unsuitable. Private for few users so far OK (nothing should dry up). Additional info: Works also under Linux (Ubuntu) - also with scanning from computer.Pro

Does what it should, but....
The device does what it's supposed to... Print, scan and copy. But the quality is quite poor for a multifunction printer of over Fr. 300.00. Everything rattles, display is more than small.... I expected more. Would not buy this device again.
Top printer
I had Canon printers for a very long time and there were always problems. This printer (Epson ET4700, Ecotank) is much better in my experience. Clean printing, economical consumption thanks to Ecotank. I can only recommend it.

You save on the ink, you get crappy quality, color problems, no double sided printing
Not worth the cost saving, I'd rather go with a duplex laser printer for a little bit more

A great office printer. Lots of functions and superb ink system
Well done Epson. A small footprint A4 printer using the large volume liquid tanks. A fast printer good for office use. I have yet to try it for photos.

Very good printer, does what it specifies
Good device for private use
I have been using the machine every day since the end of January 2020. The direct feed only works on the second attempt, i.e. the print or scan job always goes "nowhere" first because the sheet is not fed in, even though it is correctly inserted. Otherwise, however, the machine works perfectly. The print quality is average to good. The big advantage is the refilling of the ink, which is very easy and also cheaper than normal ink cartridges. Unfortunately, the promised cash-back is a problem! Whether the "unlimited ink refill", i.e. the included delivery of the ink, will also work, cannot yet be judged.

One year in use
We have been using this printer for over a year now.
Warranty processing works well.
1st warranty case: We could no longer adjust the printer ourselves and had to send it in.
2nd warranty case: The automatic sheet feeder is no longer recognised.
With the previous HP printers, some were excellent and indestructible, others were very poor. Because of the ink system, we switched to Epson here.
As long as the demands on the print quality are not high, the device prints a usable quality with very little ink.Pro
