Very disappointing
Was previously always a fan of AKG, but these headphones have me massively disappointed.
As soon as these were paired with a device, a basic noise / whistling set in with me on the right ear cup (tested with various devices). As soon as the connection was disconnected, everything was quiet again. Even after an exchange still the same error pattern.
For the price and with such a reputable manufacturer, I expect nothing less than perfection.Pro

Disappointing noise cancelling, sound quality ok
- The sound quality is satisfactory, mids and highs are better than the somewhat weak lows.
- On the other hand, the active noise cancelling is disappointing in my opinion: outside noise is hardly suppressed. I cannot understand the very positive to euphoric reviews on the net (even though I am aware that on-ear headphones have a harder time with ANC than over-ear).
- Handling (device pairing, control on the right headphone) works perfectly. - The workmanship is good.

Highly recommended!
I use it every day since June, 2017: no complaints it does it's job in a way I expected.
The frequency response is considerably different when it used with active noise cancellation ON (via bluetooth connection only) or OFF (only if connected via 3.5 mm cord). The latter case provides more mid/high frequency content or less low - it does not really matter, just the ratio.Top

I was able to use the AKG headphones, which were delivered quickly by Galaxus, in the SBB IC1 and IC8 and on my flights ZRH<->HAM EW7764 EW7765 this weekend with cable and BlueTooth. Everything is great for me. Thank you for the speedy delivery.

Very poor workmanship of the ear pads
I have the predecessor without Bluetooth. Need the headphones only during the vacations. In one ear pad is already torn after about 5x wear the seam. Thanks to the warranty, I received new headphones (can not replace the ear pads?). With the replacement headphones is again a seam torn.

Well rounding overall
Overall satisfied, but wish there were more functions such as auto power off or sleep, ability to turn bluetooth on/off, auto-pause/resume when removing from headset as I used to have my previous headset. Beyond that, nothing to say, sounds good and pretty effective at noise cancelation

Quality of listening, materials and design frankly at the top !!! I am a fan and I love it !
The listening quality is very, very good. This product is ideal for cycling, running, fitness, travelling and working in data centres. I had the Y50 version and was very, very happy with it. The volume controls are very convenient and the headset is not too bulky and quite comfortable for running. It's ideal for me.
