    Even children won’t like it

It’s impossible to take a clear picture with the AgfaPhoto DC5200. The real resolution is still below the level of old Nokia phones. Even basic functions such as focus, optical zoom or built-in speakers are missing. Of course, there are no manual settings or RAW format either. Videoing isn’t much fun.

The controls are a battlefield. For example, pressing the shutter button doesn’t take you from the menu to the lens view. The camera’s not robust. The colour peels off after a few days.

Of course, children’s cameras don’t need all the technical details. But you should be able to take a reasonably decent picture with them. Surely you want to teach your child the joy of photography? With a camera like this, you’ll spoil their fun for good.

Completely unusable is still a gross understatement

At first I thought the camera was defective. But no, when I read the other reviews, I can only confirm this (unfortunately): The pictures are completely unusable by today's standards. In the early days of digital photography, I had cameras that produced better photos with 1 MP. This camera is supposedly capable of 21 MP. I just wonder what happened to it. At least the photos are very small. At maximum resolution and the "super fine" setting, the pictures remain around 1 MB. That's what I call compression! It's a pity that the fuzzy photos are then unfortunately completely unusable. Possibly, however, the move into art photography with automatic motif obscuration. Simply not for productive artists. According to the camera, it also takes at least 1-2 seconds to load the flash. But seriously: for what reason is something like this still being brought onto the market today? It can't be because of customer satisfaction...

    Poor quality

I was really disappointed by the quality of the photos, both day and night. I bought it for my 9-year-old son, but it's really not worth it! We returned it.
