Of course, this varies from person to person, but I don't find the display disturbing at all in the dark, it darkens a lot, there is no halo of light in the device. In twilight, the display is even a little difficult to read (from a certain distance). The standby light on my TV (LG OLED) is much brighter in comparison.

My iPhone SE is also charged reliably and completely, but you have to position the iPhone relatively precisely. Once you have figured that out, it works very reliably. The 3rd button has already been explained.

The instruction manual is extremely poor - it is a double-sided sheet with only very brief instructions. The USB socket on the unit is always identified as a charging socket "for smartphones or tablets" rather than as a USB port (common misuse of USB ports). There is no mention of Bluetooth. You can download this manual from the Pure website. You can also make a service request there, they answered my question promptly and competently. - To your question: probably not.

I can charge my Samsung Galaxy S8 well with the Pure Siesta. The placement is a bit tricky, but it briefly displays when something is charging. Charging is a little slower than with the Samsung Wiress Charger, but it lasts well over one night. I don't know about Apple products; they are in their own closed world and hardly compatible with anything outside.

With such a relatively small device, according to the dimensions, it doesn't matter much to me whether it is stereo or not. The sound is good. As usual with the PURE units, the sound is relatively dull but good. I don't need a subwoofer to wake me up in the early morning. Wireless charging is available in the newer generation as well as a USB port to charge devices via cable. DAB+ should always be DAB+ in my opinion. I get a lot of DAB stations in perfect reception. Whether you need 3 or 4 alarms is a matter of opinion. For me, 3 are enough.
