Can Win7 handle this resolution out-of-the-box, or is a workaround necessary? Thank you very much...
The operating system will not be the problem, but the available graphics unit. Most current graphics chips support at least simple 4K playback. For gaming and real-time rendering, however, a high-end graphics card is usually necessary. If you tell us your system or directly your graphics unit, we can at best confirm whether 4K is supported or not.
I don't know. I have a common cable and no problem. maybe you shoud test another pc on this monitor to check if it's the cable, monitor or MacBook.
Hello I don't have a metre at hand but I estimate that it is between 5 and 7 cm from the desk.
If you want to play games on it, you need to buy at least a GTX 1070/RX 480. As a normal work PC, your GPU is sufficient.
Hello - the monitor has the following connections: Signal Input : HDMI x 2, HDMI / MHL 3.0 , Mini DisplayPort 1.2, DisplayPort 1.2. plus USB Port(s) : 3.0x4. thank you for pointing this out.
High dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of digital techniques that allow for a large dynamic range in an image. Its interest is to be able to represent or memorise many levels of light intensity in an image. This technique is carried out by allowing more values to be assigned to a single pixel. First developed for computer-generated images, the technique was later adapted to digital photography.
For what purpose? For a gaming PC?
Under specifications it says: Mounting: VESA wall mount type 100 x 100 So yes, wall mounting seems to be possible.
Merci, I can't judge exactly. The most demanding graphic application for me is gaming, and I need 2 Titan X in SLI to get a continuous 60 fps (at high graphics settings). For image processing/office, the frames per second are not so important in my opinion, and it also requires much less graphics power for office, etc.
