The PocketBook Basic 3 is equipped with a 6 inch E-Ink-Carta display of the latest generation. He thus promises a particularly eye-friendly representation of the letters analogous to those on printed paper. Even in the most glistening sunlight, the screen remains mirror-free and offers the user a razor-sharp typeface. The e-reader weighs just 170 grams and is therefore particularly light and comfortable to hold.
With the help of WLAN, Dropbox connection and Send-to-PocketBook service, e-books can be quickly and easily transferred to the Basic 3 without the need for a cable connection to the PC. New literature can also be uploaded via a microSD card. In total, the internal 8 GB memory of the device can be expanded up to 32 GB. This provides sufficient space for an entire library.
With support for 17 popular book formats (PDF, PDF(DRM), EPUB, EPUB(DRM), DJVU, FB2, FB2.ZIP, DOC, DOCX, RTF, PRC, TXT, CHM, HTM, HTML, MOBI, ACSM) and 4 image formats (JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF), the reader gives the user the greatest possible freedom in the selection of content without tiresome conversion. The pre-installed dictionaries are indispensable for indexing foreign-language texts.
The simple menu navigation of the PocketBook Basic 3 E-Reading makes it child's play, even for inexperienced users. The control element on the front and the ergonomically arranged buttons next to it enable quick navigation and smooth page turning. The specially shaped design allows both right-handed and left-handed users to hold the e-reader in just one hand.
The PocketBook Basic 3 is available in two colours: both black and white convey a confident sense of style and at the same time stand for timeless elegance.
