Mit solider Verarbeitung, anständiger Materialqualität, hervorragendem aktivem Noise Cancellling, detailreichem, angenehm harmonischen Klang, erstklassiger Batterielaufzeit und höchst angenehmem Tragekomfort lässt er die gesamte Konkurrenz derzeit hinter sich ? bezieht man noch das Preis-/Leistungsvehältnis mit ein, führt derzeit kein Weg am RP-HC800 vorbei.
Die Panasonic Kopfhörer unterdrücken den Lärm der Umgebung fast so gut wie die Produkte höherer Preisklassen. Zudem erzeugen sie so gut wie kein Eigenrauschen. Die Stimmen geraten in den Hintergrund und die Bässe rücken in den Vordergrund.

Der solide verarbeitete Kopfhörer sitzt sehr bequem und das auch nach längerem Tragen. Klanglich spielt er sehr ausgewogen, wobei er allerdings gerne das eine oder andere Detail verschluckt. Erfreulich, dass das NC-System mit Batterien läuft und somit der Kopfhörer auch dann eingesetzt werden kann wenn diese den Geist aufgeben. Allerdings ist der anfängliche Plastikgeruch des Gerätes störend.
