- Mit der kompakten SZ7 gelingen bis ISO 400 ordentliche Fotos und Videos.
- Das Ausstattungspaket fällt recht dürftig aus und lässt manuelle Eingriffe vermissen.
Aufgrund ihres sehr schlanken Gehäuses ist die Panasonic ideal für die Hosentasche, zumal sie zudem sehr leicht ist. Die Bildqualität liegt bis ISO 400 auf einem guten Niveau, wenngleich auch die Ausstattung zu wünschen übrig lässt. Der Fotograf hat hier kaum manuelle Eingriffsmöglichkeiten.

Wer gerne mit der Digitalkamera auch filmen möchte, findet hier ein integriertes Stereo-Mikrofon und auch einen HDMI-Ausgang, sodass die Aufnahmen direkt auf dem Fernseher dargestellt werden können. Die Einsteiger-Kamera bietet ansonsten eine sehr schnelle Serienbildgeschwindigkeit, wobei hier nur 4 Aufnahmen am Stück möglich sind.

...Praktisch ist auch das neue „Durch-Glas“- Aufnahmeprogramm für bessere Aufnahmen etwa von Fischen in einem Aquarium....Im Sichttest überzeugte die Kamera mit hellen und detailreichen Aufnahmen, wie bei fast allen Kandidaten störte allerdings etwas Bildrauschen.
