The LUMIX S1R offers the optimal photographic expression capability. The 47.3-megapixel sensor (36 mm x 24 mm) provides the highest resolution in its category and produces detailed and incredibly realistic images without a disturbing low-pass filter. It reliably captures sharp and shake-free photos without a tripod, thanks to the Dual I.S. image stabilizer. The 5-axis body stabilizer compensates for the effects of camera shake, allowing for up to 5.5 stops longer handheld shots. Panasonic's advanced technology enables unified control of the sensor, drive, and motor, providing extremely fast and precise focus from any angle. Extremely fast communication between the sensor and lens at 480 frames per second, along with DFD technology, allows for autofocus in approximately 0.08 seconds with high speed and precision.
With 5.76 million pixels, the OLED viewfinder of the S1 cameras offers the highest resolution of electronic viewfinders available today and an image of exceptional clarity. The real-time viewfinder operates at a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second with a minimal delay of just 0.005 seconds. This ensures that images with movement and panning are rendered cleanly and clearly. The two memory card slots are compatible with SD memory cards (UHS-II) and XQD memory cards. If you want to photograph in challenging weather conditions, you need to be able to rely completely on your camera. The LUMIX S1R features dust, splash, and cold resistance for temperatures down to -10 °C. With its robust design, it is equipped for any situation. In combination, the 4K technology, CMOS sensor, and Venus Engine image processor deliver spectacular video recordings at 4K 60p / 50p (QFHD 4K: 3,840 x 2,160 MP4) in full-frame. Thanks to these advanced technologies, even scenes with very fast movements appear absolutely smooth and natural.
