The integrated image stabilizer technology ensures clear images, even when moving.
The 21mm ultra wide-angle lens for creative perspectives. The tiltable LCD makes it easy to take a creative photo of you underwater. With the swivel LCD almost all viewing angles are possible.

Special photography:
A picture is worth a thousand words - just like videos with time-lapse. The Interval Shooting function records motion at preset intervals.

Type of filter:
There are 7 creative options to choose from, including Pop Art, Blur, Pinhole Camera, Grainy Film.

60p Full HD Video:
High resolution Full HD (1920x1080) combined with 60p function for video recording in excellent quality right to the edges.

iHS:
iHS combines the high-speed 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with the powerful TruePic image processor for outstanding image results.

Wi-Fi & OI.Share:
With the OI.Share application and the FlashAir™ card, it is easy to transfer images to the mobile device via WiFi, e.g. to share them in social networks.

TruePic VII:
Together with the high-speed sensor, the TruePic image processor adapts to the aperture you use - for photos and videos like real life.

Die Tough-Reihe von Olympus ist dafür bekannt, das man es hier mit Kameras zu tun hat, welche vor allem beim Outdoor-Einsatz einen guten Eindruck machen können. Dies gilt hier auch für das Modell Tough TG-850, es ist deutlich robuster und widerstandsfähiger als eine klassische Digitalkamera...

In erster Linie ist die Tough TG-850 als eine Outdoor-Kamera zu bewerten, hier darf es nicht stören wenn die Qualität nicht allzu hoch ist. So muss man sich bei der Aufnahme von Fotos mit durchschnittlicher Qualität abfinden, Videos gelingen sogar nur weniger zufriedenstellend.

Olympus hat bei der Tough TG-850 einen ordentlichen Job gemacht und eine robuste Outdoorkamera geschaffen. Sie kann durch ihr robustes Gehäuse auch unter Wasser eingesetzt werden, hier bis zu 10 Metern. Die Fotoqualität ist dabei absolut zu gebrauchen, Videos nimmt die Kamera jedoch in schwacher Qualität auf.
