Mobilize the Troops. Advance Wars marches onto Nintendo Switch with Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. Take on the role of a tactical advisor to Orange Star's army and command troops in strategic, turn-based battles. Demonstrate tactical skill as you move land, air and naval units across the battlefield. Take out enemy groups and capture cities and bases to achieve victory and maintain the peace. Pay attention to terrain and weather, however, as both can affect the course of the battle. This remake includes two campaigns that let you relive the events from Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.Defend your land with the assistance of Andy, Max, Tami, and other commanders, each with their own specialties and commander gifts. Andy can repair units, while Tami can boost the abilities of troops. However, your opponents can also use commander gifts. In both campaigns, the commanders you encounter play a critical role - both on the battlefield and for the storyline. When you're not busy keeping the peace in the two campaigns, you can put your tactical skills to the test in versus mode. There, up to four players can compete on dozens of maps. Each player can choose a commander from any campaign and use their commander gifts to turn the tide of battle. Battles can be customized to your liking with options like funds per base or fog of war.
