Mit der Z 50 hat Nikon seine erste spiegellose APS-C-Kamera vorgestellt, die künftig die Mittelklasse darstellen wird, denn es sind sowohl geringer als auch deutlich besser ausgestattete Modelle denkbar. Wer sich für Retro-Design und -Bedienung begeistert, bekommt mit der Z fc eine sehr gute Kamera, die ähnliche Ergebnisse erzielt wie Fujis X-E4 und X-T30. Als erste Nikon Z-Kamera ist sie mit einem seitlich ausklappbaren Monitor ausgestattet.
