At 280 euros, the fast standard lens is downright cheap. At open aperture, the resolution in the centre of the image should be higher, the edge drop of the contrast is well visible. At aperture 4, resolution and contrast in the centre of the image are at a very good level, the edge fall-off is now moderate, even the corners now show drawing...
