Wäre der Ton klar und ohne Störgeräusche, nähme man den unpräzisen Zoom und die fehlende Blendenarretierung in Kauf - denn erhielte man ganz ansprechende Videos. So aber kann die etwas funktionelle Nikon P 500 nur die Fujifilm HD 20 überrunden, bleibt jedoch gegenüber Comcordern im Hintertreffen. Die Optik des 36-fach-Zooms überzeugt mit dem 12-Megapixel-Sensor allerdings.
Mit ihrem 36fach-Zoom hält die Nikon Coolpix P500 einen höchst zweifelhaften Rekord, vor allem wenn man sich die Bildqualität anguckt. Auflösungstechnisch kann das Objektiv nur bei mittlerer Brennweite überzeugen. Warum die Kamerahersteller es gerade im Telebereich so übertreiben müssen, können wohl nur Marketingexperten erklären...
