Der Gesamteindruck des Microsoft Lumia 535 ist durchschnittlich, wobei dies im Grunde auch für jeden einzelnen Teilbereich des Tests gilt. Einzig bei der Stabilität steht am Ende ein gutes Resultat. Besonders kritikwürdig ist hier die schwache Kamera. Als Alternative für Einsteiger ist das Modell dennoch ordentlich.
Das Microsoft Lumia 535 ist ein befriedigendes Smartphone mit Windows-Phone-Betriebssystem. Es hat ein sehr großes Display. Antennenproblem: Die Funkleistung nimmt ab, wenn das Gerät auf der Rückseite unten berührt wird. Die ausreichende Kamera fotografiert recht träge und liefert schwache Fotos bei normaler und bei geringer Beleuchtung und schlechte Videos...

Der Wechsel vom Markennamen Nokia zu Microsoft hat nichts daran geändert: Es gibt einige höherpreisige Lumia-Modelle, die in der Oberklasse mitspielen, und es gibt die günstigen Lumia-Modelle, die oft sehr deutlich dahinter zurückbleiben (siehe auch KONSUMENT 10/2014). Im Falle des Lumia 535, das es auch in einer Dual-SIM-Version gibt, muss überhaupt deutlich gesagt werden: Das Gerät ist nicht empfehlenswert...
Wer nicht zu viel erwartet, der wird von dem Lumia 535 von Microsoft nicht enttäuscht. Auch wenn der Markenname Nokia von der Oberschale getilgt wurde, so ist dieses Mobiltelefon unverkennbar ein Lumia. Das Gehäuse ist kein Handschmeichler, aber robust. Der Bildschirm ist hinter kratzfestem Glas gut geschützt und mit 5 Zoll auch angenehm groß...
