Product details
Blu-ray Discs get their name from blue laser technology. The shorter wavelength of the laser is the reason why the laser appears blue. The blue laser has a wavelength of 405 nm compared to the 650 nm wavelength of a DVD, which uses red laser technology. The advantage of a blue laser with a shorter wavelength is that smaller data pits can be written, increasing the amount of data on the disc. Blu-ray Discs offer three to five times the storage capacity of traditional writable DVDs, allowing for the recording, playback, and rewriting of high-definition (HD) videos. With the Fullsurface Printable Version, you can customize and design your discs according to your preferences.
