If Tap is connected to the computer in the meeting room via a USB cable, it requires its own power supply. However, as the Cat5e kit supplies both power and data via a category cable, it is not necessary to find a power socket at the table.
Use the 10 metre cable included in the Cat5e kit or provide your own cabling for runs of up to 40 metres. Cat5e allows for precise cable lengths, reducing clutter under desks.
