The Gateron silent switch is one of the most popular silent switches for mechanical keyboards. It has a transparent cover and a milky white housing base, which provides a particularly smooth, quiet and
natural feel. As the name suggests, the noise level is significantly lower with a silent switch. It is perfect for places with noise restrictions such as offices and for gamers who don't want to disturb others at night. Unlike a normal profile switch, the Gateron Silent Switch is equipped with a cushioned damping pad on the top and bottom of the switch slide to reduce noise when using the key switches. The Gateron Silent Switches are available as both tactile and linear switches. In terms of colours, they are available in black, red, brown, white and yellow. The Gateron Silent Switches from Gateron are 5-pin PCB mount switches that can be soldered directly to a 5-pin compatible PCB and do not require a PCB.
