Its predecessor was already convincing in our test, but the new Flip 6 goes one better in almost every category. Especially its 2-way system gives it a great sonic advantage. Of course, it still doesn't reach the slightly finer resolution of the Charge 5, but it fits in even the smallest pocket...

The Flip 6 is a real all-round carefree package: charge, pack, go. Nothing can shake it that easily. The sound is also okay.
A powerful bass, clearly audible details and a balanced, lively sound - that's what the perfect Bluetooth speaker should sound like. However, good sound quality is not everything: to become a test winner, a speaker should ideally also be easy to use, have a long-lasting battery and offer practical additional functions...

JBL is known for its Bluetooth speakers, and the Flip is now in its sixth generation. The manufacturer's experience is audible: the sound is somewhat cool, but for the compact size and lightweight construction of the Flip 6, it is remarkably powerful with rich bass. The accompanying app is also great, allowing fine-tuning of treble, mid-range and bass and deactivating signal tones if desired...
