The Intel Core i5-10400F is the most interesting model of Intel's 10th and 11th generation processors from a price-performance perspective. In games, it calculates a good deal faster than AMD's Ryzen 5 3600 and is also significantly cheaper. However, you need a mainboard with a Z490 chipset to drive the RAM at more than 2666 MHz and the CPU cannot be overclocked...
