The Huawei MediaPad M2 is of good parentage. Bonus points are the casing, speakers and battery life. In terms of performance and screen technology, the premium contender cannot quite hold a candle to its Samsung and Apple rivals. It is disappointing that Android Nougat was not yet available via over-the-air update at the time of our test. But that is still to come.

The high-quality MediaPad M2 does its job as a media tablet; the equipment is completely sufficient for most applications. The pen is also precise and the tablet is equipped for drawing and handwritten notes...
