EQ-3 Water sensor

With the Homematic IP water sensor, water damage in your home can be prevented. The device reliably detects moisture on the floor. If a pipe is leaking or a sudden leak occurs, the Homematic IP water sensor immediately alerts the homeowner loudly via the integrated siren and/or through a push notification in the Homematic IP app on their smartphone. This allows the homeowner to respond promptly to the hazardous situation and minimize the damage. If the water level rises above 1.5 millimeters, the sensor triggers again and sends a second alert informing about the seriousness of the situation. The triggering behavior of the sensor can be easily adjusted in the app according to personal preferences. Thanks to its battery operation and spring-mounted measuring probes, the Homematic IP water sensor can be flexibly used in various locations on different surfaces. The device also features an inclination sensor that immediately detects and reports any unwanted movement or tampering. For operation, either the Homematic IP Access Point (in conjunction with the free smartphone app), the Homematic Central CCU2, or a suitable partner solution is required. Included in the package are the operating instructions and two 1.5-volt LR03/Micro/AAA batteries.
