Product details
The X2D 100C enables a creative experience that was unimaginable in the past. Using Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS), creatives can capture the subtleties of highlights and shadows in an image.
Combined with the 5-axis 7-stop image stabilisation system (IBIS), handheld shooting is possible in a wide range of conditions. Hasselblad has developed its own IBIS for the X2D 100C to meet the stringent stabilisation requirements of a 100MP sensor. The X2D 100C is the most compact medium format IBIS solution on the market, with size and weight considered for easy transport.
With 294 Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) zones, the system ensures that the subject is found and focused quickly. The X2D 100C captures files in 3FR RAW and full-frame JPEG formats, and the state-of-the-art built-in 1TB SSD memory and support for Type B CFexpress cards provide a high shooting rate for fast-moving subjects.
The 5.76 million-dot OLED viewfinder features electronic diopter adjustment and supports 1.0x magnification for an immersive shooting experience. The tiltable 3.6-inch touchscreen with 2.36 million pixels and 1.08-inch colour display let you enjoy shooting possibilities.
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to create a mobile photo workflow with wireless shooting, as well as export and edit images to an iPhone or iPad using Phocus Mobile 2. With the Mac or Windows version of Phocus software, high-speed wired shooting and real-time RAW image processing are possible, meaning fully wired operation. Both the Phocus Mobile 2 app and Phocus software use HNCS to provide colour on every shot.
The X2D 100C uses a back-illuminated (BSI) 100 MP medium format CMOS sensor and a native ISO of 64 to capture vivid colour and exquisite detail. A 16-bit colour depth paired with 15 stops of dynamic range allows the X2D 100C to capture highlights and shadows naturally. In addition, Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) optimises colours to appear authentic as the eye perceives them.
The X2D 100C uses Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) to capture fleeting moments with stunning clarity. 294 PDAF zones spread across the 100 MP sensor surface provide fast and precise focus at the touch of a button. The X2D 100C features 5 Axis 7 Aperture In-Body Image Stabilisation (IBIS) to capture razor-sharp handheld shots. To better control the size and weight of the X2D 100C, Hasselblad has developed the most compact medium format IBIS solution on the market. The camera meets the stringent stabilisation requirements of a 100 MP medium format sensor, while being lightweight and easy to handle.
The X2D 100C is the first medium format camera to feature an integrated 1 TB SSD with write speeds of up to 2,370 MB/s and read speeds of up to 2,850 MB/s. Although ample storage is built in, additional storage can be added with the CFexpress Type-B card slot. Thanks to this high-speed memory, the X2D 100C is able to continuously and reliably capture 16-bit RAW images in continuous shooting mode.

Very good98/100
- First-class shooting quality and the typical mid-range look of the images, which gives the photos an almost three-dimensional appearance, are the main plus points of the new Hasselblad camera.
- Despite greatly improved AF performance, the X2D 100C doesn't come close to the fast-paced capabilities of current DSLMs
- Instead, the user buys a high-quality studio system for product recordings, for example.
With its X2D 100C, Hasselblad gives a new impetus to decelerated photography with medium format cameras. Its image quality is more than convincing in every aspect and thus meets the highest demands. The handling of the camera remains relatively simple and requires only a short period of familiarisation...
