Expensive. For a hefty 465 euros, the action cam delivers satisfactory videos. It disappoints in low light, suffers from shake protection and backlight reflections. The device takes very good underwater pictures and good photos. The sound is not convincing; among other things, wind noise is distracting...
The GoPro Hero 4 Black is the only cam in the test with 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. It is still the best choice for film professionals.
The HERO 4 Black is the top model from GoPro, but also the best choice in this test. This is an action cam with 4K resolution, which is an advantage especially for subsequent video stabilisation, but the battery suffers to the same extent. All in all, this candidate has a great image quality, but the operation has also been improved...
- Good and logical operation
- Full HD with 120 frames and 4k
- balanced image performance
- Very short battery life at 4k
The manufacturer's new top model not only works in Full HD with a whopping 120 images, but is also able to record UHD films. However, the battery life is shortened so much that you should always have a spare battery with you. Nevertheless, the GoPro is certainly the measure of the DFinge when it comes to filming professional action shots in high quality...
- excellent image quality
- Smooth 4k recordings
- Sturdy workmanship and many accessories
- weak battery
The GoPro is still the best model on the market, both in terms of workmanship and video quality. The cam is capable of filming great UHD films or Full HD videos with a whopping 120 frames/second. The only drawback, however, is the battery life when the user shoots 4k films, because then the camera only lasts 1.5 hours.
- Good and logical operation
- Full HD with 120 frames and 4k
- balanced image performance
- Very short battery life at 4k
The GopRo convinces with very good recording quality, and it can even film 4k videos. However, the battery performance is anything but good, so you should approach this with caution. On the other hand, the model offers great operation with logically structured menus and a good image stabiliser.
