Product details
The GIGABYTE X670E AORUS Xtreme is equipped with the high-end chipset X670E for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors and comes with numerous features for overclockers and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series
processors require a socket due to the support of PCIe 5.0 and the extended power supply, the socket AM5 (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series mainboards. Despite the higher number of pins in AM5, the actual size of the socket remains identical to the older generation, so that most CPU coolers for socket AM4 can also be mounted on the mainboard. The mainboard is designed for overclocking, so you can also enjoy demanding games. The voltage converters with 18 native and four virtual phases provide 105 A for a stable power supply of the CPU to ensure its high clock rates even over a longer period of time. Added to this are features like Q-Flash Plus and Clear CMOS, so you can use the PC again if something goes wrong. And as usual, the DDR5 RAM can also be maxed out with higher clock rates.
