With the Varia RCT716, approved according to StVZO, you can experience greater safety in road traffic thanks to radar technology, an integrated dashcam, and a rear light. The dashcam continuously records your ride, and in the event of an accident, it will be detected. Video clips before, during, and after the incident are automatically saved. Additionally, the Varia RCT716 is equipped with proven radar technology and a bright, StVZO-approved rear light. Cyclists can thus be seen and can also detect vehicles approaching from up to 140 meters away with just one Garmin Varia safety product. The Varia RCT716 seamlessly connects with compatible Garmin GPS bike computers or the Garmin Varia app on compatible smartphones, providing acoustic and visual warnings of vehicles approaching from behind during the ride. The Garmin Varia app allows for live video to assist in camera alignment, and saved recordings can be transferred and played back after the ride.
