An integrated accelerometer stores distance and pace data when you train on an indoor track or treadmill. A separate running sensor is therefore unnecessary. After training, the device becomes the Activity Monitor² and stores the steps taken during the day and the calories burned. If you have sat for more than an hour, it even reminds you to move again. Compatible with GPS and GLONASS satellites, the Forerunner 235 quickly and accurately detects the current position - even in dense forests or near tall buildings.
An optical sensor on the Forerunner 235 (own Garmin technology) measures heart rate around the clock on the wrist so you can start walking without a chest strap.
The color display shows your heart rate range and beats per minute in real time.
