The interaction of these ray tracing cores with the GPU enables real-time ray tracing in games for the first time. This results in better shadows and, above all, much more realistic reflections.

The Super models of the GeForce RTX family offer more video memory and an increased number of shader cores compared to their standard RTX predecessors. With this product refresh, nVidia is responding to the needs of demanding games with ray tracing effects. nVidia positions the GeForce RTX 2070 Super quite close to the standard GeForce RTX 2080. It even uses the same TU104 chip with 2560 active shader processors and 14 Gbps GDDR6 memory.
