The GF110mmF5.6 T/S Macro is a medium telephoto lens with a focal length of 110 mm (equivalent to 87 mm in full frame) and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2. Its optical system consists of eleven elements in nine groups, including an aspherical lens to correct for coma and field curvature, as well as two ED lenses to minimize chromatic aberrations. The arrangement of the optical elements, with the aperture unit at its center, provides extensive correction for distortion and lateral color fringing. Even without electronic aids, high image sharpness is achieved from the center to the corners of the image.

The lens allows for close-up shots with up to 0.5x magnification, corresponding to a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2. The combination of short minimum focusing distance and tilt function can be effectively utilized in professional product or food photography as a creative tool for impactful images.

The tilt-shift mechanism allows for a shift of the plane of focus (tilt) by ±10° and a shift of the lens plane (shift) by ±15 mm.
