Keine Aufnahme gelingt ohne lautstark in der Tonaufzeichnung vernehmliches Schärfesuchen, das nur selten von Erfolg gekrönt ist. Dabei müssen Fuji nur den Autofokus abschalten und die Exposure-Lock-Taste auch bei Video aktivieren, um eine überzeugende Videofunktion zu etablieren. Schade.

So bringt sie unter anderem einen Vorteil mit, die Zoomanpassung mit Hilfe des Objektivs. Während sich über den breiten Ring die Brennweite festlegen lässt, erlaubt der schmalere Ring bei manueller Fokussierung präzise Scharfstellung.
