Product details

The CG-Monitor series. A range of screens for professional users. Be it for soft proofing, publishing, prepress, graphics, design, video editing, 3D CG, animation post production or other applications
where precision in color fidelity, gray level and display is required. The CG277 offers absolute colour accuracy and uniform illumination for the highest demands in photography, image processing, prepress and video production.

Built-in calibration sensorAutomate your calibration with the sensor built directly into the monitor housing, which folds out automatically only during use.
The sensor eliminates the need for an external calibration device and works even in portrait mode. The CG Series monitors allow you to set intervals for self-calibration using the on-screen OSD menu or the supplied ColorNavigator software. Even if the monitor is off or not connected to a computer, the preset calibration schedule is adhered to.

CG Series monitors can be matched to the measurement results of external calibration sensors. The built-in sensor automatically adopts the settings after tuning. This is useful if the monitor is used in an environment with other monitors and the attributes of a specific external calibration sensor are to be used for all monitors.

The gamma values are individually adjusted in the factory for each monitor. For this purpose, the red, green and blue gamma values from 0 to 255 are measured. The 16-bit look-up table (LUT) is then used to select the desired values for the 256 shades.

A large color space allows the entire Adobe RGB color space to be displayed, so that captured images in RAW format are converted to the Adobe RGB format and images captured in the Adobe RGB format are displayed correctly. The colours in shots that show a bright blue sky and lush green forests are reproduced in a lifelike way, as is not possible with screens with sRGB color space. The large color space also ensures a complete representation of the CMYK color system (ISO Coated and US Web Coated).
