Autofocus has been a practical aid for photographers for more than 25 years. Especially when things have to be done quickly, we are happy about this great invention. But where there's light, there's also shadows, and that's why photographers have been complaining for 25 years that the autofocus system is sometimes inaccurate and unreliable. So it's no wonder that the first step after a photo shoot is to delete all images where the focus has not been set exactly. This may be motion blur. However, the most common cause is an autofocus error. This is often explained by the fact that the camera has chosen the wrong object or the wrong point on the object as the focus point, but there is another possibility - one that we don't like to consider when considering the acquisition cost of a high-quality lens: the autofocus function of the lens could be set incorrectly.
