Whereas a few years ago it was obligatory for dedicated hi-fi fans to reproduce TV sound and music via their home multi-channel audio system, the technical equipment of many home cinema and hi-fi enthusiasts has changed fundamentally in the meantime: Soundbars provide the TV sound and active loudspeakers that can be reached wirelessly via Bluetooth or WLAN transmit the music.
So it seems only logical that DALI should now present a brand new sound system that exactly meets these requirements. The active loudspeaker called KUBIK ONE looks like a sound bar - and can also be used as such - but can also be used without a TV connection on the shelf or wall, for example to sound the dining area, the hobby cellar or the bedroom. So that the KUBIK ONE can be optimally integrated into any room and ambience, it is available in nine different colours.
The loudspeaker is almost one metre wide and only 10 centimetres deep. It has an elegant cabinet made of a solid one-piece aluminium profile, two 130 mm woofers, two 25 mm dome tweeters and four digital amplifiers, each with a sinusoidal output of 25 watts. For an adrenaline-pumping home cinema spectacle and/or in larger rooms, the bass level can be raised in two stages. And if you like, you can intensify the bass reproduction with an external subwoofer - the Cinch output required for this is located in the connection panel of the KUBIK ONE as well as a stereo analog input, two optical digital inputs and a USB port.

Pantoffelkino für Klang-Puristen! Die Kubik One ist keine typische 08/15-Soundbar. Obwohl sie von Smartphones & Co. via Bluetooth und ab PC/Mac via USB-Port angesteuert werden kann, ist sie weder netzwerktauglich, noch hat sie die TV-typischen HDMI-Anschlüsse oder gar einen 3D-Modus. Die Kubik One ist eine wirklich gute Aktivbox, die jedoch auch im Pantoffelkino eingesetzt werden kann.

Bescheidenheit an der Klang-Theke zahlt sich manchmal aus. Das beweist der Dali Kubik One. Auch wenn er von den äußeren Abmessungen her den vollen Meter knapp verfehlt, so geizt er nicht im Geringsten bei der Musikpräsentation im Wohnzimmer. Tonaler Festschmaus statt klanglicher Magerkost, so kann man das Leistungsvermögen des Dali-Soundsystems treffend auf den Punkt bringen...
Dass der Dali derart hochpreisig ist hat eine guten Grund denn das Modell ist nicht nur extrem hochwertig verarbeitet, sondern bietet einen sehr guten und zugleich neutralen Sound. Dabei ist die Soundbar auch mit einem druckvollen und präzisen Bass versehen, der ebenfalls sauber aufspielt. Zudem bietet der Dali zahlreiche Anschlüsse für externe Gerätschaften.
