Create your own EDF unit
EDF members fight alone in various countries around the world. Help the members to join you and create your own team. Each mission can be played with a maximum of 4 members. Switch between the individual team members and utilise their unique skills, which can prove very useful in battle depending on the situation.

Recruit soldiers from previous EDF titles
The characters from the first title "EDF1" ("Monster Attack") to the latest title "Earth Defense Force 5" and also from the spin-off titles will appear as a block version. Also included is a large selection of weapons and vehicles from previous EDF titles. Whether you are a veteran who is nostalgic for the series or a beginner playing the title for the first time, a special gaming experience awaits everyone.

The enemy characters from previous titles are also included
The enemies who invaded Earth have crossed over into the parallel world to take part in the forbidden war. The familiar enemies will of course make an appearance in the block design.

Co-operative online play and local multiplayer mode
Co-operative online games for up to 4 players are supported, in which each player fights with their own team. The local multiplayer mode of the Nintendo Switch™ allows you to protect the Earth together with your family and friends.
