The name of the elegant Omna derives from the Latin omnis, which means "all-encompassing". The Ultra wide-angle camera with its 180-degree field of view keeps an entire room in view.
And that - thanks to D-Link equalization technology - with minimal image curvature. It can also be easily used with Apple HomeKit accessories. With Omna you have the feeling of always being at home. See everything on your iOS or Android device on the go. Keep an eye on your pet in the living room, or check back at home during your holiday. Even when you're not at home, Omnas built-in microphone and speakers let you enjoy crystal-clear two-way audio. Communicate with family members or your pet as if you were actually there. The Omna 180 Cam HD is Apple HomeKit compatible. It's easy to combine with other devices that support Apple HomeKit. Control lighting, smart plugs, thermostats and alarms conveniently with motion detection. The Apple HomeApp (for iOS) and the Omna App (for iOS and Android) are available for this purpose.

Die D-Link Omna 180 ist exklusiv für Homekit und somit für Apple-Nutzer gedacht. Es gibt zwar neben der iOS-App auch eine Android-"Omna"-App - doch diese dient nur dem Zugriff auf die Kameraaufnahmen über den kostenlosen Cloud-Dienst "mydlink". Damit eine Homekit-Kamera übers Internet erreichbar ist, muss eine AppleTV oder iPad als Gateway fungieren...
