Die EOSM200 ist eine tolle Immer-dabei-Kamera. Sie passt locker in eine Jackentasche. Mit der Vollautomatik fotografieren ist schön einfach und liefert richtig gute Bilder. Die EOSM200 hat nur wenige Bedienelemente: Wer die Kameraeinstellungen anpassen will, muss sich daher oft länger durchs Menü hangeln. Was fehlt? Ein Sucher und die Möglichkeit, einen externen Blitz anzuschließen.

- Die EOS bietet Systemkameratechnik im Mini-Gewand. Die kompakte Kamera verzichtet auf viele klassische Bedienelemente, ist aber insgesamt einfach zu steuern.
- Ein elektronischer Sucher wäre hilfreich bei der Bildgestaltung, passt aber vermutlich nicht mehr in das t Gehäusekonzept. Dem Platzmangel fällt auch ein Zubehörschuh zum Opfer.
Die EOS M200 macht Einsteigern und Umsteigern etwa von der Smartphone-Fotografie die Arbeit mit einer Systemkamera schmackhaft. Das kleine Aufnahmegerät kann wie ein Smartphone in die Tasche gesteckt werden. Das wird auch durch die kompakte Kit-Optik möglich, die gegenüber anderen Objektiven des EOS-M-Systems sehr klein, leicht und handlich ist...
Mit zwei Kameras ist Canon im unteren Preissegment vertreten. Das neueste Modell ist die EOS M200, welche die EOS M100 ablöst, die nur noch vereinzelt erhältlich ist. Beide Kameras verzichten nicht nur auf einen Sucher, sondern auch auf einen Blitzschuh, sind aber sehr klein. Die M200 hat ihrer Vorgängerin den neuen Bildprozessor DIGIC 8 voraus, der untere anderem 4K/30p-Video ermöglicht.

Die Canon EOS M200 ist eine tolle Immer-dabei-Kamera. Sie passt locker in eine Jackentasche, liefert aber eine Fotoqualität wie eine große Spiegelreflex. Dank guter Vollautomatik gelingt sie auch Einsteigern. Verbesserungen gegenüber dem Vorgänger M100: Der Autofokus reagiert spürbar schneller, die Videos sehen dank 4K besser aus.
