Wer die Vorteile des APS-C-Formats (vor allem für den Tele-Bereich) nutzen, aber nicht auf eine professionelle Spiegelreflexkamera verzichten will, liegt bei der älteren Canon EOS 7D Mark II von 2014 richtig. Vor allem, wenn ein hohes Tempo gefragt ist. In Sachen Bildqualität und Ausstattung (und Preis) ist die viel jüngere EOS 90D jedoch mittlerweile überlegen...
Um es kurz zusammen zu fassen, die Canon EOS 7D Mark II bietet eine hervorragende Ausstattung, eine Bedienung die nutzerfreundlich ist und auch die Bildqualität ist sehr gut. Im Labor bietet die Kamera eine gute Auflösung bis ISO 1.600, helle Kanten überschärft sie hier jedoch. Ab ISO 3.200 ist die Kantenschärfung geringer, ebenso wie die Auflösung...

Die Canon EOS 7D Mark II ist eine Topkamera für Sport- und Actionfotografen: Sie reagiert extrem schnell und schießt Serien mit sehr hohem Tempo und enormer Ausdauer. Nur wenn es wirklich dunkel wird, erreicht sie in der Bildqualität nicht ganz das Niveau von Profi-Kameras mit Vollformatsensor.
Gute Spiegelreflexkamera für hohe Ansprüche. Mit sehr gutem optischen Sucher, großem Bildwandler und GPS-Empfänger für Geodaten. Besonders gut im Sehtest. Sehr guter Monitor, viele Extras und Funktionen. Nachteile: schwer, sehr teuer.
Im Grunde handelt es sich bei der Canon EOS 7D Mark II um eine sehr starke DSLR. Sie kann mit guter Bildqualität aufwarten, die Ausstattung ist prima und auch bei Handling und Tempo erzielt sie hohe Werte. Der letzte Platz im Ranking resultiert hier einzig aufgrund des schwachen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses, 1680 Euro sind doch deutlich zu hoch.
Den "Vorwurf" keine großen Neuerungen in die EOS 7D Mark II gebracht zu haben muss sich Canon durchaus gefallen lassen, die Frage ist jedoch ob es sich hier wirklich um negative Kritik handelt.
