The EOS 5D Mark II, featuring a full-frame sensor and exceptionally high resolution, allows for continuous shooting at up to 3.9 frames per second and offers a wide ISO range. Its innovative design enables the recording of Full HD videos.

It is equipped with a DIGIC 4 processor, Full HD video recording (1080, 30 fps), up to 3.9 fps (JPEG), a 9-point autofocus system with 6 AF assist points, and the EOS Integrated Cleaning System.

Im Testfeld zählt die Canon EOS 5D Mark II schon zu den alten Hasen, was aber ihrer hohen Qualität keinen Abbruch tut. Die Kamera liefert prima Bilder und kann ebenso mit ihrem Videomodus und Full HD Aufnahmen punkten. Verglichen mit den neueren Modellen, muss man beim Autofokus jedoch ein paar Abstriche machen.
