Product details

The brand new 30.4-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor in the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV impresses with a wide dynamic range and allows for continuous shooting at up to seven frames per second. The camera offers internal 4K video recording as well as built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. It optimally combines speed, high resolution, excellent low-light performance, and modern video features. As the first EOS camera, the 5D Mark IV can record in the innovative Dual Pixel RAW format. This allows for adjustments to the focus area in post-processing, horizontal shifting of the bokeh, and reduction of lens flares. The 30.4-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor provides a wide dynamic range. For the first time, recordings in the new Dual Pixel RAW format are possible, enabling post-processing of focus areas, bokeh, and lens reflections. Designed for peak performance: innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF. The step to 4K cinema quality: 4K with DCI and up to 30 frames per second. Always connected thanks to built-in Wi-Fi with NFC and GPS.

The EOS 5D Mark IV is one of the best working cameras on the market today. It's not a true action camera, but it's fast enough and at the same time so high-resolution that it can cover everything from sports to portraits to landscape without much compromise. The extremely light-sensitive autofocus, sealing and high ISO values also make it an ideal companion for reportage - meanwhile at a more moderate price.

In terms of image quality, it lags a little behind the higher-resolution models, but that's complaining at a very high level...
