Product details

The large 18.0 megapixel sensor in APS-C format lets you take extremely detailed images.
Print your photos up to A2 size or choose creative image clippings in compelling image quality.

Natural-looking images in low light:
You can take pictures in a natural atmosphere even if the light is dimming. The wide ISO range from ISO 100 -6400 (expandable to 12,800) reduces the need for a flash unit - preserving the natural mood of your special moments.

Attractive background blur:
Take impressive portraits that highlight your subject against an attractive background blur - this depth of field control is typical of DSLR photography.

First-class details and colours:
The Digic 4+ processor allows you to capture the details, colors and contrast you remember.

The Canon Connect Station CS100:
Transfer your photos and videos to the Canon Connect Station CS100 for easy viewing on an HDTV or sharing via social networks and online albums like irista.

Quite simply or completely individually:
Leave the work to Auto Scene Recognition and take great pictures without worrying about the settings; or you're already advanced and creative by adjusting the camera settings yourself in Manual Mode.
