Farbgrafiken sehen gut aus, Fotos zeigen nur mäßigen Kontrast und wenig Details. Farben schafft die Zink-Technik zwar nur als Pastelltöne, doch produziert der VC-500W für einen Etikettendrucker sehr beachtliche Ergebnisse. Allerdings ist das Zink-Papier als Druckmedium relativ teuer – immerhin spart man zusätzliche Tinte.
