Der MFC-J4620DW druckt fast genauso gut und preiswert wie der Testsieger. Und wie der teurere Bruder erfordert er Geduld beim Farbdruck. Die Ausstattung ist aber weniger umfangreich, der kleinere Brother muss mit einer Papierschublade auskommen. Wie der 5720 bedruckt auch der 4620 DIN-A4-Seiten quer, mit diesem Kniff lassen sich auch einzelne DIN-A3-Seiten bedrucken...
Der Multifunktionsdrucker ist für herkömmliche Aufgaben recht gut geeignet und bringt Texte sowie Grafiken relativ gut aufs Papier. Bei Fotoausdrucken ist er aber ebenso wenig gut aufgestellt wie beim Kopieren dieser. Dafür bietet das Modell zahlreiche Schnittstellen und ist über ein Touchscreen sehr gut bedienbar.
